Terms of Service
Terms and conditions governing the use of nomu.land services.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using nomu.land ("Nomu", "the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this Service. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Legal Notices, form the complete agreement between you and nomu.land.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use nomu.land. In jurisdictions where the minimum age of digital consent is lower, the local minimum applies, but never below 13 years of age.
By creating an account, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Beta and Early Access
The Nomu mobile app is currently offered as beta (early access) software. During the beta period:
- Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time, and some functionality may be incomplete or contain errors.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and availability may change as we develop the Service.
- We recommend keeping your own copies of any important travel information. While we take reasonable measures to protect and back up your data (as described in our Privacy Policy), you should not rely on the beta Service as your only record.
We value your feedback during this period — you can reach us any time at support@nomu.land.
Use License

User Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your authentication method (the one-time sign-in codes sent to your email) and of any device biometric App Lock you enable
- All activities that occur under your account

- Protecting sensitive information such as confirmation codes and reservation details
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using our services
You may not share your account credentials with others or use another user's account without permission. Notify us immediately at support@nomu.land if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Payment and Subscriptions
Nomu offers different support tiers with varying features and entitlements. By purchasing a tier:
- You agree to pay the listed price in your selected currency (USD or BRL)
- Payments for purchases made inside the app are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Tier entitlements (maximum trips, places, and features) are granted upon successful payment confirmation
- Refunds and cancellations are handled through the Google Play refund process and in accordance with applicable consumer protection law, including the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code where it applies. Except as required by law, purchases are otherwise non-refundable.
We reserve the right to modify pricing and tier entitlements. Changes will not affect active entitlements retroactively. We will notify you of material pricing changes at least 30 days in advance.
If a payment fails or is disputed, we may suspend access to paid features until the issue is resolved.
Content and Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store using our services, including trips, places, notes, and media. By using Nomu, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to:
- Store, process, and display your content to provide our services
- Use your content to improve and personalize your experience
- Create backups and ensure data availability
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and store any content, including photos and other media. You must not upload content that violates any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
Sharing Your Travels
Nomu lets you share a traveler card — an image summarizing your countries, places, and trips — through your device's share options. You choose whether and where to share it. Your profile can also be set to public or private in your settings. When using these features:
- Traveler card: Once you share the image to another app or person, we no longer control how it is used or redistributed.
- Public profile: If you make your profile public, the details you choose to show may be visible to others; you can switch it back to private at any time in your settings.
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to share, and we are not liable for how third parties use information you have made public.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Nomu to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
